American Pain Society PAINWeek 2017
September 5 - September 9
The 11th annual meeting of the American Pain Society (APS), aka PAINWeek 2017, will take place September 5-9 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The annual conference for healthcare practitioners who work with pain patients will feature more than 120 hours of continuing medical education courses, enabling attendees to earn up to 35.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credits, as well as more than 100 exhibitors.
The class curriculum will include concentrations such as behavioral pain management, health coaching, interventional pain management, master classes, medical/legal, neurology, palliative care, pharmacotherapy, and physical therapy, as well as special interest sessions.
“Given the current environment surrounding management of pain, it is more critical than ever that frontline practitioners equip themselves with evidence-based information and skills they can use to help their patients improve their quality of life,” says Roger Fillingim, PhD, past president of the APS, in a media release.
“The APS is delighted once again to have the opportunity to interact with PAINWeek attendees and provide the latest information that can help them more confidently and effectively provide care for people suffering with chronic pain,” he adds.
